Practice Details:
We are growing! Unique opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our busy multi-specialty practice that is a community-based practice with hospital affiliation located in-front of Trillium Hospital - Queensway location. Our team uses digital health tools and best practices to allow for an organized and streamlined process when managing our high patient volume.

Requirements:

Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants from one of the following Canadian Universities; McMaster University, University of Toronto, University of Manitoba;
OR; Possess a valid American license as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
Certified by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC/CAPA/CCPA)
Eligible to work in Canada/Ontario

Qualifications:
Excellent medical recording keeping with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide-range of patients with different backgrounds and medical conditions
Demonstrated competency to perform complete clinical assessment and development of treatment plans in accordance with medical directives (patient-facing in addition to providing virtual care)
Passionate about furthering education, training, and development to meet patient care requirements (up to date with clinical research and studies)
Abililty to handle large patient volumes; excellent time management, decision-making, problem recogniziation and problem solving skills

Greats to have:
Experience with working with EMR and/or HIS
Experience with any of the following specialties: Allergy, Rheumatology, Joint Injections, ENT, Pediatrics, Respirology, General Medicine, Dermatology, Gastrology & Hepatology
