PA Cert Exam (PACE) is administered independently of any training facility to ensure that the PA meets the standard set out in the CanMEDS-PA and EPA-PA for the PA profession.
Upon successful completion of the PACE, a candidate is awarded CAPA’s certification designation Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA).
CAPA and PACCC aim to reassure regulators, employers and the public that a PA who holds the CCPA certification designation has met the national standards established by the profession.
In order to register for the PACE you MUST be a CAPA member (Regular, New Graduate, Sustained, PA Student, International PA and International PA Student).
