The Program Planning Committee intends to submit the full program for approximately 20 credit hours, including eligible workshops and select concurrent sessions.
How do I earn credit hours at the conference?
To earn credit hours, delegates must:
- Attend eligible sessions (workshops, panels)
- Complete a session evaluation for each session attended
- For concurrent sessions that are viewed as a recording following the conference; these can be reported in Section 2 – Individual Learning – Educational content review – watching videos (with no opportunity for discussion) 0.5 credits per hour to a maximum of 30 credits per year.
In general:
- 1 hour of participation = 1 credit hour, unless otherwise specified
Only sessions with completed evaluations should be counted toward your total.
How do I calculate my total credit hours?
You are responsible for calculating your own total:
- Count the number of session evaluations you completed
- Match each session to its duration
- Apply the standard rule: 1 credit per 1 hour of participation
How do I document my credit hours?
CAPA provides a certificate template to delegates. To complete it:
- Enter your total calculated credit hours
- Ensure accuracy based on your completed evaluations
- Save a copy for your records.
Note: Each participant should claim only those credit hours actually spent in the activity and for which a session evaluation has been completed. Certificate should be retained for a 6-year period and may be requested for presentation by the PACCC
Where do I report my CAPA 2026 credit hours?
All CAPA 2026 credit hours should be reported through the My MOC tool.
- Section 1: Group Learning – Accredited Conference
- Enter the total number of credit hours you calculated
- Upload your completed certificate as supporting documentation

Delegates are required to retain:
- Completed certificate
- Confirmation of registration/attendance (if available)
You should keep these records for a minimum of 6 years, in case of audit.
Do I have to complete session evaluations?
Yes.
Session evaluations are mandatory to:
- Validate your participation
- Support accreditation requirements
- Allow you to claim credit hours
You should only claim hours for sessions where an evaluation was submitted.
Can I claim additional credit hours for providing feedback?
Yes. Completing evaluations can also be reported as:
Section 3 - Feedback Delivered
- Includes:
- Session evaluations
- Full conference/event survey
- Credit rate:
- 3 credits per hour of feedback activity
- Maximum:
- 15 credits per year
You may choose to log these separately in your My MOC profile.
What is the full event survey, and does it count toward credits?
At the end of the conference, delegates may complete a full event survey.
This can be reported as Section 3 - Feedback Delivered (see previous question for details)
I am a speaker, how do I claim credit hours?
Speakers at CAPA 2026 may claim:
Feedback Received
- Time spent reviewing and reflecting on:
- participant evaluations
- feedback to improve practice
This is separate from delegate participation credits and should be recorded accordingly in My MOC.
Can I claim credit hours for recorded sessions viewed after the conference?
Yes, where applicable.
Concurrent sessions that are viewed following the conference may be eligible for credit if:
- They are part of the accredited program
- You complete the associated evaluation
Recorded sessions can be reported in Section 2 – Individual Learning – Educational content review – watching videos.
As these have no opportunity for discussion, they are calculated as 0.5 credits per hour to a maximum of 30 credits per year.
What happens if I do not complete an evaluation?
If a session evaluation is not completed, you should not claim credit hours for that session
Who is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting?
