Voting is now open for the CAPA 2016 Board of Directors (CAPA BOD) elections. You have until July 27, 2016 at 07:00 hours (EST) to cast your ballot for the following CAPA BOD positions:
Treasurer
- Kenzie Bellingham, CCPA
- Jennifer Tracz, CCPA
The following positions have been acclaimed as there were no other expressions of interest; therefore no voting is required for these positions.
- Pacific Chapter President–Sean Kurtz, CCPA
- Prairie Chapter President – Trevor Stone, CCPA
- Alberta Vice-President – Paul Haskins, CCPA
- Manitoba Vice-President – Karen Dickie, CCPA
There were no expressions of interest for the Secretary and Pacific Vice-President roles; these positions will remain vacant until such time as the CAPA BOD appoints suitable candidates to fulfill the roles.
The CAPA BOD would like to encourage you to take the time to carefully review each candidate’s biography and platform. Making an informed choice is important to ensuring the future and expansion of the PA profession in Canada and will help to guide the association in this stage of expansion.
As part of a competitive and fair process, CAPA will be permitting each of the candidates to send an email message to members so that they can further express their intentions to represent the membership. This will be done through the office via the admin@capa-acam.ca email.
The results of the election will be announced to the membership via electronic means on August 3, 2016. The results will also be posted on Facebook, the CAPA website and in the August newsletter.
