Open access journal is the home of clinical research among physician assistants across disciplines
On July 1, 2018 Volume 1, Issue 1 of the Journal of Canada’s Physician Assistants (JCanPA) was officially published, marking the culmination of years of hard work and commitment to launching a journal that offers a forum for the important contributions of Canadian physician assistants. The open access, peer-reviewed journal is hosted and sponsored by the University of Manitoba’s Rady Faculty of Health Sciences.
The landscape of medical publishing has shifted dramatically in recent years and the importance of open access journals cannot be overstated. Open access journals like JCanPA make research findings more accessible and contribute immensely to growing the community of physician assistants across Canada.
