PA Needed for Complicated Patient Consultant Outpatient General Internal Medicine Clinic

Dr. Bertozzi is looking for a bright, compassionate individual who will first see the patient on their own, formulate a diagnosis and plan, present the patient, and then implement the plan that we arrive at together. This includes arranging tests, treatments, communicating and following up with referring physicians and patients, including subspecialists. The subspecialist network will grow and involve extensive networking and collaboration, and the PA will orchestrate this process. Extensive follow-up with the patient through mobile medical applications, as the referral region includes northwestern Alberta and northeastern BC, and the Peace Country. Ongoing medical education with the University of Alberta through weekly education sessions. We use an established EMR at the clinic.

There may be some work with Inpatients and On Call later, but the Outpatient work will be the priority.

As the Mayo Clinic has as their Primary Value, "The Needs of the Patient Come First", and we will hold this value also.
