The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to provide patient care as part of a collaborative health care team in the nine Cree communities served by the CBHSSJB. As a Physician Assistant, you will play an essential role in optimizing the quality, coverage, accessibility and continuity of health services by contributing to the delivery of health care to the Cree population of Eeyou Istchee.

Your qualifications
• Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) or equivalent certification from the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Strong interprofessional collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with indigenous populations is a valuable asset.
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, showing respect for traditional Cree approaches to health care.
• Ability to communicate in English is mandatory. Cree and French are assets.
• Previous experience as a Physician Assistant is a strong asset.
