Bio
Franklin Marquez graduated from the University of Toronto in Physician Assistant studies. He also has an undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Biochemistry. He worked in the ER in Winchester, ON before relocating to Fredericton, NB where he works in the ER. He helped develop the rapid assessment area with fellow PAs in NB. He spent 12.5 yrs in the military in the medical field; deploying while in Petawawa. Franklin engages in endurance sports around the world completing marathons and Ironman competitions. He continues medical education by teaching students and residents. He has been more recently begun engaging in wilderness medicine while completing courses in the field. Franklin continues to expand the PA role in Fredericton and looks forward to expanding the role in the east coast.
