ECHO IMPH aims to:
(1) Explore assessment and management of mental health conditions that are complicated by physical health concerns;
(2) Integrate information from clinical guidelines to effectively prioritize care issues;
(3) Discuss prescribing challenges and optimal medication management for patients with co-occurring mental and physical health conditions; and
(4) Assist patients who are experiencing functional impairment due to co-occurring mental and physical health concerns.
What is Project ECHO?
Through weekly videoconferencing sessions and a case-based learning model, Project ECHO at CAMH and U of T aims to strengthen primary care and allied health capacity in key priority areas for mental health and addictions. Sessions are engaging, interactive, practical and evidence-based.
