Membership

Membership fees are non-refundable.

Conference

Attendee registration:
Cancellations with refunds will be accepted until September 14, 2012.  There will be a $50.00 administrative charge for all cancellations.  No refunds will be issued after September 14th.  Please make your requests for refunds in writing to the National Office by email (admin@capa-acam.ca) or fax (613-521-2226)

Exhibitor:
Any notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to CAPA on or before September 10, 2012. Once an application has been accepted, 50% of the rental rate for each booth space is non‐refundable regardless of the date of cancellation notice. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 10, 2012. Notice of cancellation of exhibit space must be submitted in writing to the National Office by email (admin@capa-acam.ca) of fax  (613‐521‐2226).

Certification

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your certification examination date within your certification examination timeframe as indicated on your registration acknowledgement letter, you must contact CAPA’s Certification Manager prior to one business day of your scheduled certification examination date. Failure to cancel or reschedule within the guidelines listed will cause you to forfeit your entire exam fee and have to reapply and pay for the certification examination.

If you decide not to take the PA Cert Exam during your certification examination timeframe as indicated on your registration acknowledgement letter you must submit a request in writing to CAPA’s Certification Manager for the withdrawal of your certification examination application/eligibility from that certification examination timeframe. The request must be received at least 24 business hours prior to your scheduled certification examination date as indicated on your registration acknowledgement letter. Failure to request the withdrawal in writing to CAPA within these timeframes will result in the forfeit of your entire certification examination fee and you will have to reapply and pay for the certification examination. Cancellation of your scheduled certification examination date with any party other than CAPA’s Certification Manager does not constitute withdrawal from the certification examination timeframe. This must be done by contacting CAPA directly in writing (via mail, e-mail or fax).

Any approved refunds will be issued directly to the party who paid the exam fee.

Advertising

Requests to cancel an online ad will be processed within 5 working days. CAPA will refund any pre-paid ad if it is still effective for one month or more. The refund is based on a pro-rated month-to-month basis (E.g. You place an ad for 5 months and later decide to cancel after it has been online for 1 month and 3 days, you will be refunded for 3 months only.)

Methods of Repayment

Refunds for Cash Payments

Refunds for payments made with cash will only be given with a valid receipt showing the original form of payment and will be issued in the form of a cheque mailed from our National Office.

Credit Card Refunds

All credit card purchases will be refunded back to the credit card on which the original payment was made.

Cheque Refunds

All cheques will be refunded 14 days after the original cheque has cleared and will be issued in the form of a cheque mailed from our National Office.
