Join Us in Thanking Our CAPA Volunteers
April 12 – 18 is National Volunteer Week in Canada. In celebration of this special occasion, CAPA would like to thank all of our volunteers for the time and effort that they have selflessly invested to make a difference for PAs in Canada and patients within their communities. National Volunteer Week pays tribute to the millions of Canadian volunteers who graciously donate their time and energy to strengthen our communities and make our country vibrant. Canadians have a rich history of volunteering and community involvement. With 13.3 million of them dedicating their time across Canada, volunteers are leading positive change on all fronts including community health care. The work of volunteers is essential to maintaining resilient communities at home and around the world.
CAPA’s Board of Directors is comprised of volunteer leaders who spend countless hours ensuring that there is a national voice for the PA profession in Canada. Volunteer members also sit on CAPA’s various committees or are involved with other projects and activities at a national and provincial level. The passion and dedication that these people have brought to the Association has had a tremendous impact in making a difference for PAs in their communities. Please join the National Office in thanking our volunteers for their commitment to not only advancing the PA agenda in Canada but also their commitment to their fellow members and colleagues within the health care field in Canada and abroad.
